Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Washington, DC/New York Avenue

"Gaudy, Nia, and Miriam provided an excellent breakfast atmosphere!! Food was fresh and delicious. Staff was keeping up with the demand while keeping everything clean. I would suggest and addition of waffles to the delicious spread. The oatmeal stations was unexpected and beautifully executed. Room was pretty ok. They could definitely do with updating the tubs in the bathrooms.... Definitely one of the nicer stays near the Echostage area. Edit: THEY LITERALLY BROUGHT A WAFFLE STATION OUT THE SECOND DAY...."

"Everything was fine but nothing stood out. The breakfast was just so so and that is why I want to give 4.5 but I faced no problem as such. The bathroom was clean though they keep towels so far from shower that if you forget to pick before starting then good luck. Wifi was fine but not speedy. Elevators are old and slow. Bed was comfortable. TV worked fine. Coffee machine but only one pod."

"This is one of the best hotels I've been to! Our group is on a Tour/Vacation to learn about and visit Washington DC, but we walked a lot. The rooms here were great for resting after being out and about all day. The complimentary breakfast there is great and the rooms are clean and the housekeeping is amazing. If you're going to visit DC, this is the hotel you should stay at. I also added a picture of the view..."

"For the level of hotel the room was very acceptable and of nice size. Service and cleanliness was also very good and the arrival gift was nice as well. Sure location is not awesome like others have mentioned but I still felt safe walking to and from Echostage even at 3am."
